a short biography
My life has gone through many challenges and changes. I've overcome many of life's obstacles, have found peace within myself today, and transitioned gracefully into a new era.
I have attained a Bachelors of Science degree, a Masters of Education degree, and have completed the Administration and Organization coursework for an Educational Specialist degree (36 credit hours!).

I am now a Principal at an elementary public school in Detroit, MI.
I've been an artist since I
can remember and a working/performing musician for, let's see, about 30 years. I
not only paint guitars, but landscapes and formal oil portraits on canvas.
The music I play ranges from Salsa/Merengue to Tex-Mex to Santana- (I like to say Latin-Soul-Rock) to Jazz
and rock and everything else danceable in between. My
alter-ego band is The Brothers Cruz -check us out at The
